Memorial Day
Remember those we have loved......
I love you, Dad!!!

I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don’t let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories

Remember the good times that we had?
I let them slip away from us when things got bad
How clearly I first saw you smilin’ in the sun
Wanna feel your warmth upon me, I wanna be the one

I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don’t let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories

I’m so tired but I can’t sleep
Standin’ on the edge of something much too deep
It’s funny how we feel so much but we cannot say a word
We are screaming inside, but we can’t be heard

But I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don’t let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories

I’m so afraid to love you, but more afraid to loose
Clinging to a past that doesn’t let me choose
Once there was a darkness, deep and endless night
You gave me everything you had, oh you gave me light

And I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don’t let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories

And I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don’t let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories
Weep not for the memories

This song reminds me that life is so good and full and busy that I often forget to think about him. The beauty is that, I know that is exactly what he would want for us! He brought so much joy to everyone who knew him and many who did not. My father, my BobbyDad!

Whenever I see/hear this song, I think of my brother's girlfriend who was killed in a car accident. It was played at her funeral and is hauntingly beautiful...

Your father was a handsome man. May God bless and keep him.

Lori, thank you sooo much! The song reminds me that life is so ful and happy that I sometimes forget to think of him often. I suppose that is exactly how he would want it to be! He was an absolute gift to everyone who knew him and many who did not...hey, I need to put that on my post..... :-)

Your dad is a handsome man! You are very lucky to have a close relationship with him. I envy people who are lucky like that!
